Trouble with Orgasm

Orgasms are intense feelings of release during sexual stimulation. They can vary in intensity, duration, and frequency. Orgasms can occur with little sexual stimulation, but sometimes much more stimulation is necessary.

Orgasmic dysfunction is a condition that occurs when someone has difficulty reaching orgasm. This difficulty occurs even when they’re sexually aroused and there’s sufficient sexual stimulation. When this condition occurs in women, it’s known as female orgasmic dysfunction.

The inability to become sexually excited can leave a woman feeling isolated, ashamed, and concerned. Many women are unaware that what they are experiencing is actually a symptom of an arousal disorder. Female sexual arousal disorder is the inability to become or stay aroused during intercourse.

Women may have difficulty reaching orgasm due to physical, emotional, or psychological factors. A lack of lubrication, genital swelling, and a struggle with mentally becoming aroused. The important thing is to understand that not only are there many women who have the same concerns, but that arousal disorders are very treatable.  If you are concerned about an inabitlity to orgasm, Dr. Molden and her all female staff are experts in intimacy issues and sexual dysfuction.  Set up a private consultation to discuss your options.
